SILVER:
All the silver I use is fully recycled from various sources.
One of the main sources is from redundant x-ray films from the NHS.

GOLD:

All gold is from recycled sources.

SCOTTISH GOLD:
I am one of the very few jewellers in Scotland that uses genuine Scottish gold.
In its raw form, it is 24ct and incredibly soft so I refine it here in the studio to allow me to use it in my designs. All my Scottish gold is hand picked from a select few waterways in Aberdeenshire using a technique called snipping. This is where the prospector uses snorkelling equipment and floats down the river hand picking it from the river bed. No machines are used & the disturbance is minimal. In turn, this has a huge reduction in damage to the environment and animal habitats.
GEMSTONES & HEALING CRYSTALS:

To the best of my knowledge, my gemstones and healing crystals are responsibly sourced from suppliers that are in contact with mines direct. This ensures that the miners have better health & safety equipment and are fairly paid for what they retrieve. I also use recycled gemstones which again has a minimal impact on the earth and the environment.
